Recurring Events filling up beyond manageability

  • After giving my client the Pro version for purposes of recurring events, they now have around 1,300+ event posts and the dates are going clear up to year 2031.

    Is there no way to have these events delete themselves after so many days/months have passed? They are now unable to post anymore due to their database reaching its capacity I believe, so I am trying to find a solution to this problem.

  • Hi Andy – we don’t support the PRO version of the plugin here, generally speaking it would be more suitable to post on the Events Calendar PRO forum for anything relating specifically to that version.

    That said (and strictly not supported by Modern Tribe) you may be interested in this utility plugin. Do take the time to read over the FAQs etc first, however, as it makes a number of assumptions particularly re the expiry criteria that may not suit all circumstances.
