I’m trying to create a series of recurring events. They are weekly on most weeks, but don’t happen every single week. So I created the series and inputted the exclusions by date, with the new ‘exclusions’ field. When I published the event, it ignored the exclusions and published the event on every single week. So I went to the weeks individually that I needed to exclude, and broke them off from the series and deleted them manually. That is what I’ve done in the past, before the update, and it worked fine.

However, then I updated the series of remaining events, and it not only republished the weeks I had manually deleted, but created duplicates on the weeks I wanted to keep. Never had this problem before! But it’s a big problem for me – I need to update recurring events every month (my calendar changes slightly every month).

I hope that makes sense. Please tell me how to fix this, or what I’m doing wrong!
