    Goodday,

I’ve got a problem with recurring events. In the backend the recurring events stay visible in the upcoming list. even if the date of the first event is past. It’s just orange highlighted.

The problem is that I have on the homepage the code: [eme_events limit=01 template_id=1], that should show the first upcoming event.
But this code causes that the rendered date (and event) is the first date of a recurring event. Even if that date is expired. I just want the first upcoming event showing.

What’s the right code? Or do I have a setting wrong?

    Thank you in advance,
    Larz

    Found it!!!

I set the recurrence dates, and after that I set the start and end date. Thats wrong.

You have to set all the recurrence dates, and just fill in the startdate in both start and end date forms…

The recurrence dates set the begin and end of the whole recurrence period in which you want to repeat an event (e.g. from today till 31/1/2017 and then e.g. each Monday or so), except in the “specific days” case only (since it doesn’t obey a recurrent setting, you can then just choose the days you want).
The event begin and end date just indicate the duration in days of one of the recurrent events (as the tip says in the add/edit event page).
