Rectangle Facebook share icon?

Hi chupo_cro, you can add the Facebook-like button. Then when people like it, a window will show where they can share it. So you got both a like as well as a share.

Yes I know there is FB like button but if the option Display the icons I selected above is selected instead of Display rectangle icons then hovering over the Facebook icon displays Facebook like and Facebook share buttons. When using Display rectangle icons then there is Facebook share as well – however in that case Facebook share icon is displayed along with many other social sharing services. It would be really nice if rectangle Facebook share icon could be displayed separately (as can be displayed Facebook like icon) since like and share are two different actions.

I believe quite a few users think that would be really nice and are looking forward to be able to use both rectangle like and share Facebook buttons.

Glad I found this thread. Really like your plugin. Pretty much the only one where you can get standard badges (rectangle buttons) for social sharing, especially the Facebook like button badge without a counter. Please help me understand: In rectangle mode in Facebook when share option is selected along with Like option, no “share button” is generated next to the “Like button” as is usually the case. Only a “Like button” appears and no floating pop-ups above rectangles, like the other icons? So, how does one share through Facebook in rectangle mode as the “Like” button does not provide an option to share. Unless I am missing something. Thanks again! Dave
