• My organization has been maintaining a website via www.remarpro.com for the past few years and I am unable to successfully login with our login credentials to access the back-end to make edits to our site!

The URL we use is: https://www.mhnwpowerofhome.org Admin URL: https://www.mhnwpowerofhome.org/wp-admin

I have not been able to reset our password or username via the steps
provided on the WordPress site. The email address associated with this account is: [ deleted ]

I have since replaced the person who formerly managed this site, but she left the login information for us to sign in and for some reason, it has been a real challenge to login at all. The login/password reset, does not send an email to this account when we attempt to use the ‘recover your password/login’ feature. I am unsure how else to go about recovering our site to make edits. Please advise, as we will need to access this site which was designed, for an upcoming event.

    Thanks very much!

Hello – thank you for the reply. I have tried all the options I can with no success. Many of the options for resetting passwords in your link are not geared towards the common user when it comes to troubleshooting login issues – without Development/coding or HTML experience, it’s hard to follow the exact steps with the technical terms used unless someone is walking you through the steps via phone. Is there a support line that can be reached as it would be tremendously helpful to walk through the issues/instructions for troubleshooting via phone with a support person. I am attempting to reset a password (assuming I don’t know my login, password or email account since none of these seem to work) using one of the options listed, i.e. phpmyAdmin but easy to follow instructions are not provided, similar to the other options like WP CLI, FTP, mySQL.

The main issue I am having is not even being able to login with ANY username or email address that our account clearly used, so there is no way of confirming if any passwords are reset, etc. Is there any possibility that WordPress completely shut down our account and it is not in existence? This should not be the case, as it is a website we host for an annual event that we update yearly and should still be running, but it seems odd that none of our credentials are working. Please advise!

The more I read the support forums on similar issues, the more it seems like others have had the same challenges with no direct solutions. Any additional assistance would be greatly appreciated at this point.

    Thanks!

Method I – Change the password:

    1. Create a new account with a password you will remember.
    2. Log in to the new account to make sure the password works.
    3. Open your phpmyadmin and open the users table
    4. Locate the account you just created, copy the encrypted password from that user
    5. Locate the account you need to have a working password for, paste the encrypted password there
    6. Your administrative account will now have the same password as the new account you created.

Method II – Change the email

    1. Open your phpmyadmin and find the administrative account you want to have access to
    2. Put a known email in the email field and save it
    3. Go to the website and reset your password as you normally would

I believe that one of these two methods should work and you have step by step instructions now. I wish you luck.

Hi I have the same problem here as mercyhousing and my company site is https://www.sportsandspinal.hk
    https://www.sportsandspinal.hk/wp-admin

I don’t even have the login email and details for my company site. The owners of the company can proof for the ownweship (company registry and server/dommain name) information required. May I know if there is a way to connect with the management here to retrieve the login details?

    Thank you.
