Unfortunately you’re talking about your server, but not Backup Guard plugin related limitations. We’re unable to do much about your server config limitations to bypass all of them. What can we do if your server doesn’t let you upload large files? Similar issues (e.g. max file upload size, max execution timeout, max cpu usage) come from your server configurations and you should take care about that. What we do is, detect a limitation and provide a hint either to resolve or bypass it.
If you see the error when you’re trying to import an archive, then simply upload it in “/wp-content/uploads/backup-guard/” directory using any FTP client. Or just ask your hosting provider to increase that config value for you.
If you have any question, please don’t hesitate to open a support ticket here:

P.S: It’s really unreasonable to deserve only 1 start when your server forces its own limitations which are not somehow related to our plugin. We really hope you’ll reconsider the situation and you’ll revise your review. Thank you in advance!
Best,
