Recordings Access Passcode

I used the recordings shortcode to display the recordings on the post after the meeting is over.. and once the meeting is over it updates which is great!.. the problem is.. when i click to play or download video it opens in new tab and asks for passcode. i enter the passcode for the meeting and it says wrong code.. only when i am logged into zoom admin which uses the api, then i can see recordings. but as standard student user, i have no access to the recordings?
