    Hello,

I’m using WooCommerce Connector by Intuit to automatically create a payment and invoice in QuickBooks Online when orders are created in WooCommerce.

My issue is that the records created in QuickBooks Online show the total amount as fully paid rather than partially paid with the payment that was received against the outstanding balance.

I suspect this is due to WooCommerce’s standard order format which only contains “Order Total” and does not consider “Deposit” or “Due Amount” as a payment factor.

Do you have any suggestions as to how I may modify my WooCommerce environment to accommodate my use case?

    Thank you,
    Ryan

Hi, thanks for considering our Deposit plugin. Can you share the plugin you use to make the QuickBooks order sync, so that we can check from our end.

To add our deposit and due values to QuickBooks, they need to consider our plugin meta values. So you can contact them regarding the compatibility issue. If they have any fix or code suggestion to consider other values to their recording then they will share that with you. That response will help us to check the issue. Hope you are now able to understand and do needful. Thanks!

They are unable to provide assistance outside of the existing functionality so I guess we are stuck.

Is there any accounting software that your plugin works with in the manner in which I described?

Thanks for your response. Without their support, we can not move forward. We think there are several other methods available for QuickBooks Integration. We don’t have any specific recommendations. Hope you can check.? ?
