    Hi guys

I have a record in my database in wp_wrc_caches set to expire a year from now.

Why is it inactive and showing as Expired in the menu?

    Kind regards
    – Perry

    Hi again guys

Don’t worry about this one – it was a WordPress issue.

Our JSON contained non-printable characters due to binary spatial data in the output.

For some reason WordPress’ transients API does not handle this properly and refuses to fetch the transient, causing your plugin to report the cache item as expired.

We simply unset that now and everything is working as expected.

    Kind regards

    Hi @perryrylance

Thank you for using our plugin!

I was just about to type that the Expired status could mean that the transient isn’t stored correctly, when I saw your second message that you already found the cause ??

Please let us know if we can be of any assistance!

@acato Thanks for the response all the same!

I’m pleased to tell you that all WP Google Maps’ REST endpoints now integrate with your plugin ??

All the best, keep up the good work!
