• Hello,

I have currently set access level for editing to ‘contributor’ but when I sign in on this user and go to the plugin list participants page it just shows a blank page with the four ‘Previous, Submit, Apply, Next’ buttons. When I click one of these buttons it gives me the error:

Database Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘WHERE id = 152’ at line 1 on query: UPDATE wp_participants_database SET date_updated = NOW(), WHERE id = 152

    Many thanks!

I just tested this and it works. It looks like in your case there is a javascript conflict with another plugin or your theme. Can you get the proper page when logged in as an administrator?

    Hello Roland,

It seems to have sorted itself out. Many thanks, one last question though. Is it possible to list all records like the [list] shortcode but at the same time be able to edit them all like the [record] shortcode?

    Thanks.

No, there is no inline edit of multiple records…good feature idea, but I haven’t been able to build it in.

This is the same problem like mine. I did use “contributor’ role but can’t edit the data.

JDCC, how do you resolve the problems?

    Thanks.

Hey, I thought it fixed but it never actually started working.

As I mentioned in another similar post, this isn’t because the plugin is shutting you out of the page because if the user role. You wouldn’t get to that page at all if that were happening. Some other problem is coming up. It will be necessary to take a look at you PHP error log after visiting the page to see what the problem might be.

I’ve take a close look at the code and don’t see what the problem could be, and I can’t duplicate the problem, so I’m looking for more information to help me figure it out.
