recommended web design tools for MAC

I’m a huge fan of Coda, it’s $100, but well worth it.

If you have the cash, obviously DW is worthwhile.
If not the budget for that, then as per above, Coda is brilliant.
If zero dollars, then check out BBedit’s Text Wrangler. Awesome!

thx but I asked for a small/free text editor with highlighting capabilities something like notepad++

I highly recommend Fraise. It’s a very basic text editor with only essential features. Best of all, it’s free!
