Recommended shopping cart plugins for WordPress?

    I’m a web designer who loves wordpress but am new to ecommerce. I have a client who needs a shopping cart plugin for their wordpress site. I’ve heard a lot of people have had issues with many of the plugins out there. Can anyone recommend a shopping cart/ecommerce plugin that they have used and love? Thanks heaps.
