• It must be me – I seem to have the hardest time locating the specific info I need when optimizing my site in wordpress.

I want to get to the recommended image size for an image (featured?) that I’d like to include in a post. I can’t seem to find that. Can you help?

    Thank you!

  • The featured image for this theme is 660×360, but you do not have to crop it yourself before upload, just make sure the image is bigger than that, WP will crop it for you.

Be sure that you also assign that image to be the featured image for that post. This is so that theme will be able to use it as it intended to do with featured image.

In general, upload image with a width of 960px, or bigger like 1200px for example, and WP will crop it to sizes assigned in settings upon upload.
