Recommended Caching Exclusions?

I’ve been told that running page caching alongside the ActivityPub plugin can result in the wrong header information being cached/served – which can prevent new posts from being federated by ActivityPub.
I’m excluding the following from caching:
- Author Pages (used to federate to my limited knowledge).
- The ActivityPub plugin folder itself.
I’m still encountering an issue in which a post will not federate if it is the first post being published following a long break from posting. The second attempt to create a post (and all subsequent posts) federate properly.
What further caching exclusions are required/recommended to extend reliable ActivityPub federation of posts for an initial post attempt?

Can you recommend an ActivityPub friendly caching solution that includes cache preloading?
I’m using WP-Optimize because of its automated preloading functionality. Wp-Optimize appears (by feel) to serve faster cached pages over the more popular WP-Fastest Cache, W3 Total Cache, & WP Super Cache too.
I’d love to serve speedy cached content to all logged-out users while gaining Activitypub friendly functionality (because ActivityPub and the Activitypub plugin are amazing).
