Recommendations widget

I’m trying to use the recommendations feature off your plugin with Responsy Theme. However, the plugin/widget is picking up blockquote styling off the theme. I’d also like to be able to show the entire recommendation if possible as a paragraph or however it is laid out on the LinkedIn site. Here’s the page it’s on https://www.philcrow.com/about/
width of the column is 300px
Any advice would be excellent! ??
