    Hi there,

My site was near to going over quota on disk space and while looking around for ways to reclaim some space, I saw this file:

    sucuri-oldfailedlogins.php

    which was 20MB in size.

Can anyone tell me how to clear this file out ?

Is it a matter of: Last Logins > Reset Logs ?

    Any help is appreciated.

    David

  • Well “20MB” is not much, there are MP3 and even JPEG files that could go up to that size. Anyway, you can safely delete all the files inside the /wp-content/uploads/sucuri/ folder, there are some buttons in the “Scanner Settings” page named “Reset something…” that you can use to flush the data inside these files, or you can use an FTP client or the file manager of your hosting control panel to delete them manually.

I say that it is safe to delete them because nothing will break if you do that, the plugin will just create the files once again and start collecting data from scratch, and you can delete them again in the future if you consider they are too big. You could even create an scheduled task [1] in your server to do this automatically.

Thanks very much for this Yorman.

I should have said, the reason I was asking was my website was over quota on disk space for the hosting plan it is on so every bit I can get rid of helps, even 20MB ??

    Regards David
