Reciprocal links on WordPress page dont get recognized

I was trying to submit my site to about 20 directories but reciprocal links that I put on https://my-site-name.com/partners dont get recognized. The page is loading in Chrome, IE and Firefox and I also tried online proxies and it works on all of them except for hidemyass, but that probably does not matter.

Is there any way to find out what is going on with this. I got a message than a site does not give 200 response (something like that) so it cannot be approved. Reciprocal links are on the page, but the directories do not recognize it, for whatever reason…
