Recipient context for merge tags

    Hi,

    Is there a possibility to retrieve the recipients when resolving the merge tags ?

    I’m displaying date & time and would need to set them in the time zone & format depending on the recipient. When adding the merge tags to the custom trigger, I don’t see a way to access to the recipients.

    I have the feeling that the merge tags don’t have access to the carrier context but I could have missed something.

    unfortunately, no, and you’re right the merge tags are not bound in any way to the carrier.

    In other to achieve the recipient context you’d need a Custom Trigger where you could pass the recipient as an argument. This way you could set up your merge tags depending on the user.
