Recipes Displaying Blank White Page

  • Hi, I’m just getting started with a new blog that isn’t quite ready to be published just yet…been working on it the last month or so and recipes always worked just fine. Last night they suddenly started showing just a blank white page. I used to use WP Recipe Ultimate and I updated all of my plugins last night. I tried turning off all plugins and turning them on 1 by 1 and it went white when I turned on WP Recipe Ultimate. So I installed WP Recipe Maker and imported hoping that would fix the problem. Still white. =(

    Could you check with your webhost if there are any errors in the PHP error log?

    Another option would be to enable “WP_DEBUG” in your wp-config.php file. That should show an actual error instead of just the white screen.

    These are all notices from other plugins (specifically “subscribe-to-double-opt-in-comments” and “top-commentators-widget”) but a notice shouldn’t cause a white screen. Does it say error anywhere?

    Could you test if you have the same problem with all other plugins deactivated?

    I do – I originally tried that from a google search. Deactivated all my plugins and only enabled recipe one. I just did a live preview of the 2015 theme and it seemed like they were working. When I switched back to Kale though, same issue. I didn’t publish either one though…just did preview (not sure if that matters)
