Recipe structured and schema

    Hello,
    I’m starting work on a recipe blog and i need to know if Yoast basic can set the recipe schema … Because i saw that another plugin did it in the basic version, but as i always use Yoast i wish it could do it too…

    As that is a brand new project without any kind of budget, there is no chance now to get the pro version.

    If recipe schema is available in the basic version, may k know hkw to setup?

    Hi,

    While the Yoast SEO for WordPress plugin will help set up most of the required structured data, we currently only have the HowTo and FAQ block as our structured data blocks available — https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/structured-data-content-blocks/

    We’re currently working on a new structured data block framework so we can easily expand the number of blocks. In the future, you can expect blocks for recipes, jobs, and events, to name just a few. All these blocks will integrate with the Schema.org graph that Yoast SEO generates for every site. This way, we can offer search engines with the complete package of all the connections on your site.

    For now, if you want to include the Recipe schema, you’ll have to look at custom code or another plugin that would add this. Please do make sure it fits with the integration guidelines from our schema output as well — https://developer.yoast.com/features/schema/integration-guidelines/
