    Hello Sir,
I can’t get my recipes to show on my Homepage. I need to show a Grid View of my recipes on my Homepage, but I couldn’t get it done.

2.) There is a need for Recipe Carousel or Recipe Slider.

3.) We need shortcodes so that we can use our preferred Elementor Page Builder.

Gutenberg is still crappy, and Gutenberg Blocks haven’t really done a good job to have as much as 90+ widgets as Elementor has.

So you can see the frustration in still working with Gutenberg?

When will shortcodes for every Relicious Recipe Block be available?

Needing to hear from you soon.

    Regards

    Hi @gamicord,

Delicious Recipes plugin is made fully compatible with the following themes:

    Blossom Recipe
    Blossom Recipe Pro
    Vilva
    Vilva Pro
    Yummy Recipe
    Cookery Lite
    Cookery

If you use any of the above themes, you can display your recipes in the slider as well as on the homepage.

There is also an option available to enable the recipes to display on the homepage. Please check this documentation – https://wpdelicious.com/docs/enable-recipes-on-homepage/ In order to display, your Homepage settings should be set to ‘Your Latest posts’ under Settings > Reading.

We don’t have shortcodes available for Elementor yet but it is also on our list to develop widgets for Elementor. We don’t have a fixed timeline for this as we are currently working on User Dashboard and Front End Submissions.

Kindly let us know if you have further questions.

1.) I like your answers, but I hate the approach. I hate the approach because it shows that there’s no flexibility yet in the plugin.

I don’t want to show my Latest Posts. I want to show a Page, and be able to paste some recipes on the Page. That indeed is freedom and flexibility.

I think you need to change this Model, and make the plugin more flexible by creating Recipe Blocks that enables us to place Recipes anywhere.

You need to create an Archive Block– which enables us to show all Recipes by simply selecting the Categories we want to show(as is done in Elementor and some other plugins)

2.) Flexibility also means that we don’t have to be locked to a Theme to use your plugin. Make a Carousel Slider block that stands alone, irrespective of whatever Theme is used.

Needing to hear from you soon.

    Hi @gamicord,

Thank you for your response and feedback.

    We have developed 3 Blocks – https://prnt.sc/103da8l:
    1. Handpicked Recipes – This allows you to choose the recipes you want to display on a post/page – https://prnt.sc/103dc4b

    2. Recipes by Taxonomy – This allows you to select the specific taxonomy from where you want to display the recipes – https://prnt.sc/103dczi

    3. Recipe Card – This allows you to select a specific recipe you want to insert in the page/post – https://prnt.sc/103ddtt

We don’t have the carousel block but we can surely consider it for future updates.

The plugin works with other themes as well and many of our customers are using them with their favorite theme. The above compatible theme offers more options since those themes are designed considering the features of Delicious Recipes.

We hope this helps. Kindly let us know if you have further questions.

You misunderstood me here. But don’t answer this part. I’ve gotten my answer already.

Thanks for your time. Really appreciate.
