Recipe Round up button not showing

It should show a button that links to the parent post of the recipe. You can check what that parent post is on the WP Recipe Maker > Manage page. Is it correct there?

When you save a post it looks for any recipes inside and associate itself as being the parent. So to change the parent post, try saving what should be the parent.

You can also try using the “Find Parents” button on the WP Recipe Maker > Tools page.

It works on some of the posts and not on others. It’s very strange . I’m in the process of trying to make sure the parent post is the actual recipe, and the button is working on some of them and not on others.

Not sure if there are technically difficulties with some of the posts.

If the parent post is set correctly for a recipe, that button should show up, regardless of what post it’s used in.

Make sure to check the recipe ID and if that recipe does have a parent post.

Try clearing any caching plugins as well to make sure those aren’t interfering.

One more question. Is there a way to make the recipe the parent post? Is there a checkbox or something? Thanks

So make sure you’ve added the recipe block/shortcode to a regular post and then saved that post with the recipe inside of it. When you do that, it should link things automatically.

Revision plugins or cloning posts can sometimes break things.
