I create a recipe. It shows up in the recipe list with ID 2737.
In a post with “insert recipe” the list is empty.
    If I add a shortcode [wprm-recipe-jump id=”2737″]
the result is that it points to nothing.

I reloaded all site to but the error remains.

I could find out that I can search for it. The recipe start with “P”. But this is very unsable.

If you want to type the shortcode you’d use [wprm-recipe id=2737]
The shortcode you typed was for the jump to recipe button.

You can also create a recipe directly in the post which doesn’t require you to use the ID at all. I highly recommend having a look at our introduction video: https://bootstrapped.ventures/wp-recipe-maker/introduction-video/

    Kind regards,

I actually do not want to place recipes within a page. Simply because I do not want to have 100 pages if I create 100 menus.

Note about the video: It does not provide an answer to my question. You seem to assume that one creates a recipe only in a page. This is not what I want to do. Similar to a Gallery. I create them independent and load them with a shortcode where needed.

Your recipes need to be added somewhere before they can get displayed. Most people add them to a post (like shown in the introduction video). Separate from that you can create an overview page, which is covered in your other support topic.
