• I recently update my wordpress blog to the 3.5.1 and now it won’t let me add an image to a post and also when I try to make a post it is VERYYY slow and I keep getting this error:

    500 Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

What is going on? Logging into the blog was extrememly slow as well. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  • Do you have access to the webserver error_log? If so, can you post the relative entries from when you try to access the site?

Usually, 500 Internal Server Error means you have had a surge of traffic to your website and your hosting plan isn’t big enough to cover it. submitting links to Reddit have been known to crash baby hosting plans if they are popular posts

    No – it doesn’t. It’s a generic error.
