Recently, Spam is Finding a Way Through

We have used this plugin for over a year and never had a problem on client websites. However, recently we have been seeing spam get through.

One was a very basic spam submission from a bot with the same IP address submitted multiple entries every few minutes. We ultimately had to install Wordfence to prevent this spam from getting through.

Another example was for a different client domain, the spam appears to also be a bot, but is using a different IP address. A submission comes in every few minutes.
