Recent search terms widget in footer?

Hello guys
I constantly update my site with new articles and it has paid of for one of my niche – Chinese astrology -where I now rank high. But I need to gain traction on the second one, Feng Shui. So I recently put both Reach search terms and Popular search terms widgets in my footer. You can see my site on https://www.laurentlanglais.com Is that a good idea to put such widgets in footer, or should I go back to put my blog links and some internal linking over there? Is there a point of using both plugins otherwise or could it hurt my SEO? Your advice is more than welcome…Thanks.
