    Hi Amit,

    I’ve got two issues concerning the recent posts widget:

    1) I’d like to run a german website but it’s showing the comments in English (while date is displayed correctly translated). Is there a way to fix that?

    2) Is it possible to display the category of posts as well in this widget?

  • Hello,

    1. Which plugin you are using to translate the text? Try to edit the pot file ocean-extra > languages folder using a PoEdit tool and check it works or not. You can also use Loco Translate plugin to translate it.

    2. Unfortunately, it is not possible to display the category name in recent posts widget at present. But we will consider it for future updates.

    Thank your for your help!

    1) Edited the translation of ocean-extra with Loco and it works.

    2) Ok, would be a great enhancement in my eyes.

    I’d like to ask you one more thing about this widget: Is it possible to display posts that are set to private for not-logged-in users as well?

    I don’t think it is possible.
