Recent posts widget

  • Hello there.

    I’m using a Gridsby child theme for my site – and it’s working out great. However the “recent post” widget is giving me a little trouble.

    It’s showing all my recent posts, meaning image-posts as well – and I just need it to show blog posts.

    For some reason setting conditions in the widget won’t work.

    For example: I assign the category “photo” to all my image-posts and “blog” to all my blog-posts. Then I select “show if category is blog” – but still it returns all posts.

    The same goes with assigning different authors for the “photo” and “blog” posts. Show if author is xxx.

    So this widget seems broken, except I can turn “display post date” on / off.

    Any ideas why? ??
