You may see that the posts appear briefly, but not persistently.
Advanced Recent Posts has four layouts: Basic, Thumbnail, Dropcap, Responsive Grid.
Responsive Grid (layout=”grid-medium”) is the only layout that shows post Excerpts.
Other settings are visible on this page.
This page uses two other layouts, without Excerpts.
Thumbnail layout shows posts (without excerpts) with Sydney 1.30.
The Basic layout only shows distorted thumbails (lower half of the page).
