    I am using the theme as my blog.

    I need to create a home page slider with the recent posts images and excerpts. the same as the one used in simple catch theme.

    I tried to use the “latest posts” slider in the home slide settings section of the theme options, but it did not work.

    How can I do it?

  • Well I don’t know the simple catch theme so I can’t say this theme slider is equal or the same, and if you have a specific slider in mind you might consider using a plugin.

    As for the theme latest posts slider it requires that your posts have featured images. and that the images are larger then the max width and height of the slider. If you have both of those then can you post a link?

    And fyi the latest post slider doesn’t show the excerpt just the title.

    Thanks a lot for your reply. Now, I know what I should do ??

    I would highly recommend adding excerpts in the recent posts slide in the coming update.
