Recent posts

  • Hello,

    I would like to know how to add the 10 most recent posts as they are on the blog homepage to the web site homepage. I have installed WP 1. 5 in domain.com/blog and would like it to run from there but would like a small section of the web site homepage (domain.com) to have the 10 most recent posts.

    I couldn’t find a recent post about this issue.

    Thanks for that link, but unfortunately they all deal with adding a list of recent posts to pages within the blog. I want a list of the recent posts on the homepage of my web site. The blog is installed in a directory of the web site. The only talk I have seen regarding this refers to reading the RSS feed and stuff, which totally confuses me. Surely there must be a simple way to do it.

    You could create a new page (say, /blog/recent10.php) and then use PHP or a server-side include to pull it into your main index page.

    Otherwise you want to alter “THE LOOP” I guess…
