recent post links on the header :: HOW??

I was making a website in wordpress as it needs to be updated by the clients. I made all the main navigations on the header line about us, news, gallery etc.. and on the front page I will get the recent posts by the memebers. but the same thing I want to access from the main navigation also (the news). From the front page if I access it works well., but if I go to any other page it stops working.

I am using ” class=main_menu_links >NEWS in the header. it works good as long as i am in the front page. but if I am inside any other pages then this will not work.
