Recent post carousel/sliders

  • I have looked and looked but cant find any plugins with good ratings, for recent post carousel/sliders.

    Can please please suggest some options, which are similar to the Twenty Fourteen theme, in that they show the featured image as the background, and the excerpt (or up to the <!–more–> tag).
