Recent Month Change

  • I upgraded to the latest version of Slimstat (4.6.7) and was very disappointed by the change in the graph for Human Visits on my Audience page. I understood and liked the previous ‘current-month’ format, and it was much more useful to me. How can I return the graph to the previous layout without shelling out money for something I once had and appreciated?

    Dear @macwillard,

    I understand where you’re coming from. As you can imagine, it’s impossible to please everyone. I will forward your message to the developer to see if there’s anything that can be done. For now there is a temporary workaround, which is to click on the link “Current month so far” in the date/time filter dropdown. Or you can always select a given month to see that month’s stats.

    Damn, clicked the ‘Solved’ button too soon. The link for the “Current month so far” has to be reclicked every bloody time I go to my dashboard. Not cool.

    can I ask you to please watch your language? There’s no need to start cursing like a sailor ?? We are working on adding this option to the settings, so if you have a little more patient, this problem with “Current month so far” that you mention will soon be a thing of the past!

    Maybe we can call the forum moderator and see what (s)he thinks about your language?

    Look, every change we introduce in our code is detailed in our changelog, so it’s not like we didn’t warn our users. Also, you can always rollback to the previous version of Slimstat, and use it until the new settings will be introduced, which will make both you and the “squeaky wheels” happy.

    Please note that we are trying to work with you and address your complaint in a timely fashion and with no added drama. We would appreciate the same on your end.

    It should be. Version 4.6.8 was released yesterday, and it addresses your request. Am I missing something? Also, I see you changed your reply here above from the original one:

    The latest update didn’t address my issue at all. In fact, I can’t see an option to compare the current month to the last month at all (where one was superimposed over the other. That used to be the default setting). Now the traffic days are just stretched out in one long, difficult-to-read graph.

    Also, the custom date for the Human Visits graph still doesn’t stick. You leave the page, or fresh it, and it reverts back to the default.

    If you can’t read the changelog, what else am I supposed to do? ??
