Recent comments issue

I deactivated the plugin and it works.
Here are my steps to reproduce:

1. Activte plugin
2. Write comment on a post as guest (don’t sign up, just write comment)
3. Approve comment
4. Reload post, the comment will be shown and in the recent comments widget, it is looking correct. the name of the guest will be shown as last comment.
5. Login as a registered member and reply to that post
6. The widget now changed the name of the unregisterd guest with the name of the registered user who last commented.

Now if you comment again as the guest, it will revert to normal again unless you answer or reply as registered member.

I deactivated all plugins and changed theme but it won’t work.

The issue still exists. I had to install Decent Comments until this gets fixed.

Nope, it displays the correct avatar but the name and link to author stays the same.

This issue is a conflict with “Decent Comments”?

No this is issue with Standard Comments widget from wordpress. I had to switch to decent comments and deactivate author link in order to get it working.
So something that is linking the author from UM to recent comments widget is broken.
