Recent comments by Category

  • Is there any way to include Recent Posts by Category?

    I am using an index Page (with multiple loops) showing 2 Categories, each listing:

    1) Most recent post in Category X (preferably in extract but without image)

    2) 5 recent Posts in that Category

    3) 5 Most recent commented Posts in that Category, or 5 comments, listing commentator, PostPermalink & perhaps a brief extract.

    I am not sure how to apply an additional loop to the 3rd section… perhaps that is the way to go?

    Can anyone out there point me in the right direction?
