Receiving WordPress Emails

    I’m developing a site locally using MAMP Pro. For some reason, when I try to register new users on the site for testing, the confirmation email never arrives. Automated emails just aren’t working. I know it has something to do with the fact that I’m developing the site locally but I don’t know how to fix the problem.

    It’s driving me absolutely nuts!

    Any ideas?
