Receiving missing argument 2 error message when I try to access my website

  • Warning: Missing argument 2 for load_textdomain() in /home/megainte/public_html/wp-includes/l10n.php on line 443
    My hosting company’s response was “I attempted to resolve the issue, though I was unable to – the issue is related to your WordPress installation and there are a few issues reported online. Regrettably, I was not able to find a working solution for your case during my research.”

    The person who designed and maintains my website is not getting this error. I checked this through Google, Yahoo and Internet Explorer and on three different computers. I don’t know what to do.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
