• We’re activating this plugin on a client’s site to perform an export of her blog posts content. However, each time the plugin is activated, we receive a 502 Bad Gateway error message. We have deactivated, deleted, and reinstalled the plugin multiple times, cleared the server cache, and deactivated all other plugins to avoid a conflict. Please advise.

    Thanks for your patience. The plugin activation has been resolved. Please check and let us know if you are still facing any issues.

    @tilalahmad

    I check with one page and it seems to work,

    Can you check and update the plugin just to remove the message about
    “This plugin?hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress”

    @tilalahmad Thank you for the update. The plugin still has a few hiccups, but it will activate and run now, in small numbers of posts. Thank you.

    We have plans to release a new version of the plugin and will address this issue as well.

    Thanks for the help

    @tilalahmad we are now receiving the same 502 error when running the plugin export, regardless of post count in the export. Please let us know if there’s an update for the plugin soon. Thanks.

    I am afraid the plugin is working fine on my side. Please share your WordPress and PHP versions, along with some more details of the error(log). We will try to replicate it and investigate it accordingly.

    @tilalahmad Thanks for the reply!

    The error is the same as the original one in this thread. When the plugin is newly activated, or when the export is run (even with a small number of posts), there is a 502 Bad Gateway server error.

    We’ve found that the plugin will work and complete the export process as long as a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Three is active and ALL other plugins are deactivated. We used the Health Check and Troubleshooting plugin to mass disable everything so the Aspose export would run and no design work or key settings would be lost.

    This particular site is using WordPress 6.2.2 and PHP 8.2. Thanks.
