Received an email about update to 3.7.1.

Hello. Please excuse my ignorance if this is nothing to be worried about, but as I’ve never heard of it before, I thought I’d check. Never hurts to be paranoid!

I’ve just received an email telling me that WordPress has updated itself to version 3.7.1. (content below).

I wasn’t aware it could do that as all previous updates have required me to activate them in the dashboard. I have also never received an email about it, before.

Is this some kind of attempt to get my login details?
