Receive email notif even the user is logged in (active)

Hi

I used this awesome plugin and noticed that I/we can’t receive emails if someone message us IF the user is currently logged in (active/online). What I mean like this:
I currently logged in and active/online to the site. Someone message me. I received that and read it. My expectation should receive email as well that says someone message me ( But right now, we can received email only IF the recipient is not currently logged in and active )

Is that possible?
