• Hi,
I have the plugin installed and all is working fine in that payments are accepted and receipts are being sent out and received by the paying customers.
However, no-one is receiving an e-ticket or ticket by email. I am assuming this is not a sending issue (SMTP) as the receipts are being sent and received correctly.
This also happens if the purchase is made through an email associated with the domain name.
(Noe of the templates have been altered or modified.)
Please can you advise why no-one is receiving a ticket by email?

    With many thanks,
    Richard Green

Are the payments showing as completed in the admin?

On the payments, is the email shown as sent in the log of notifications at the bottom of the screen?

Hello Joe, Many thanks for your very quick response.

The payments don’t show as automatically completed – that has to be done manually.
Ref the log notifications: where is that? we can’t see anything to that effect.

That sounds like the problem is with PayPal IPN. Is the PayPal IPN enabled in your PayPal account? If it is, does the IPN history show successful IPN queries to your site?

    Thanks, Joe
The IPN is enabled and the history shows all the relevant transactions as sent. If the problem was within PayPal would that effect purchases? The purchase is going through and the customer receives a receipt once I complete the transaction.

The log of notifications is at the bottom of the Payments screen, FYI – it’ll log all emails sent on a Payment. That’s where you’d need to look to see whether emails are being sent.

    Thank you.
On the payments screen we get 6 columns:
Title | Date | Status | Cart Total | Receipt ID | Email
and the columns are filled with the relevant info for the customer.
There isn’t any log of notifications as such, or are those populated columns the “log” and the fact that there is an email in the Email field an indication that one was sent?

    e.g the row looks like:
    Joe Bloggs | Published 5 hours ago | Completed | £10.00 | cf374e2ecff6846d939197c4f087efg | [email protected]

Yes; the log of notifications is on each individual payment. If you click through to look at a single payment, you should scroll to the bottom of the screen.

    Thank you.
So when you open a payment by clicking on the customer name it shows the email sent which matches the email received containing the receipt. But nothing about a ticket, should there be a link to view tickets in same way there is a link to view the receipt?

Assuming that payment was completed, then yes. In the template, it’s represented by {tickets}, and would appear there in the email. Is {tickets} present in your email template?
