• Hello, and thanks for this plugin.

I am getting weird issues, the print receipt cuts from the left side. I am using Star TSP100IIIW printer. I have tested
    – default print option and it works fine
    – by change margin settings but issue still same
    – by change width from settings
    – by change printer settings

Kindly help me resolve this issue. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the feedback about the plugin.

We can offer a few tips to optimize the settings for different thermal printer models.?

Unfortunately, we don’t have every printer make and model in our labs, so we are unable to provide exact settings per printer. Especially with thousands of options in multiple?countries.?

Important:?Each time you make a settings change, perform a test order print to verify how it prints out. Each settings change will result in a different print job outcome.

    Tips:

Tip #1: Page Orientation: If you are using Auto, please try the other settings of Landscape or Portrait.

Tip #2: Enable Custom Margins, select either a value of 0 or 1. Defining the margins allows the print text to position properly on the print-out. Changing different values greater than 1 on specific sides based upon the print out text can be used to compensate for center alignment.

Tip #3: If you are using a Thermal Printer. Each printer will require different Custom Width and Custom Height. We’d recommend trying different values 75 and 40 to start, if this doesn’t print properly, test other values. You can also test a Custom width as 0. The printer might require automatic width. If this doesn’t work, define the Custom width and leave the Custom Height at 0. Some thermal printers might require the automatic option for width and Continuous feed for Custom Height.

In general, our best recommendation is to try different settings configurations. Often the expected setting output by each printer model can be different, but if you try and test, hopefully it can improve the output result.

Sorry we can’t provide exact settings configuration, but we don’t have that specific Star TSP100IIIW printer to verify the output result.?

If you do determine the best settings for the Star TSP100IIIW printer model, please update the post and share with the community. This way other users with that printer model can understand the recommended settings too. Thank you.
