When accessing the Settings page I get the following message, “reCaptcha version was changed. Please submit “Test reCaptcha” and regenerate Site and Secret keys if necessary.” I selected the Test reCaptcha which generates the mess, “Please submit “Test verification”” then after selecting the Test verification, I got the following, “reCaptcha v3 test failed” I have confirmed my keys are correct, and have been using the plugin without issue for a couple of years. Now on version 1.74. The reCaptcha on my website seems to be working, so why am I getting this message? I use the Divi theme.

  • Just noticed your post, any chance you are using an ad blocker on your workstation browser? I’ve been burned by this…

Also, FWIW, I got a message yesterday from a WordFence scan that one of the files with this plugin had changed from the repository version (the comparison didn’t look malicious, more like a version got out of sync, which happens every so often…), so I removed the plugin entirely, reinstalled it, and reconfigured. It worked first time, easy peasey.

Good suggestions, thanks! I will turn off my firewall and try again. I had thought about deleting and re-install, but was being lazy… But, based on your experience I will go ahead and do it. Thanks again.

No, they did not… Ultimately I uninstalled your plug-in and am just using the built-in captcha feature supplied with the Divi theme.
