reCAPTCHA v3 using Google Fonts

  • Because of the GDPR I want to load Google Fonts from my the local server only. Unfortunately Contact Form 7 loads the Google Font “Roboto” when reCAPTCHA v3 is active.

    The Font “Roboto” is loaded by https://www.gstatic.com/recaptcha/api2/v1554100419869/recaptcha__de.js (initiator) on line 186.

    Is it possible for CF7 to not use this font or use it locally within the plugin? Or does CF7 not have the option because it is loaded from the API anyway when integrated?

    What uses the Google Font? I guess it is only the badge, right? Would the Font not be loaded, if CF7 does not load the badge? If so, can you please make an option in the settings to not load the badge (with Googles legal notices about it)? I would rather build my own notice about reCAPTCHA in order to fullfill my duty.
