Recaptcha V3 Ruined this plugin, slows down EVERY page of site!

  • Bottom line:
    * SLOWS DOWN SITE. EVERY PAGE! Super JS Heavy!
    * Code on EVERY page, just to have 1 contact form, what?!?!
    * Branding Badges placed on EVERY page! Seriously?
    * More spam than ever before.

    Recaptcha slows the entire site down. Every page on your site. I received no notice when they dropped recaptchV2. I had to figure it out on my own when my site got slammed by spambots. They forced you to move to Recaptcha V3 which is awful in every sense of the word. I get more spam now that I switched than ever before. The Worst…From trying to add branding to every page of my site, not just the contact page to running script and 3rd party DNS lookups on EVERY page of my site.
    This plugin 100% is on its last leg before someone writes a better one, one that has nothing to do with recaptcha. Must change privacy policy also because Google is tracking all users. Must also change the code in some countries like China that don’t allow google. Also, EU sites need a different PP if using this.

    NOT COOL guys! Not cool! Google I blame you, but CF7 you let this happen.

  • Imagine this. I have 100+ sites and updated CF7 on all sites, which resulted in a massive spam surge which heavily affected my server IP reputation.

    CF7 is finished for me, used to be the most stable WP plugin out there, all ruined by one update.

    I only hope the dev received enough money from Google for enforcing V3 onto everyone.
    Every single change I get, I use to explain everyone to stay far away from this plugin..
