reCAPTCHA v3 is now enterprise… but it doesn’t work?
-
I saw this thread because I noticed that reCAPTCHA v3 is now considered Enterprise and you mentioned that it might not be supported six months ago.
It seems pretty obvious to me in my setup for v3 that it’s not working. I haven’t even launched this website yet and have a bunch of signups (the domain isn’t even a week old and would be hard as heck to find) so it seems that reCAPTCHA v3 integration does not work, Takayuki.
I mean — all of reCAPTCHA v3. Since all of it is now Enterprise.
Which makes no sense.
I can’t say definitively. However, what I can say is that I am using Contact Form 7 through Elementor (via the widget offered by Ultimate Addons for Elementor, but I assume this would happen with the other ugly CF7 plugins I’ve come across), can’t set any threshold of spam on CF7, just Elementor (which I increased to 1, but I feel like that’s a bad idea), and I’m seeing emails I know I shouldn’t be seeing, especially when observing viewer behavior in a tool I monitor akin to Intercom. They jump on the page, put in their email, hop off. Gone within seconds. There’s content they need to read first so this is clearly bot activity.
How does one get around this an ensure reCAPTCHA v3 works? And if that just doesn’t work for me, how can I integrate another CAPTCHA with CF7 that will work? My preference is getting v3, of course….
