• @takayukister ,

Thank you for all the years providing such a clean, simple and free plugin. This 5.1 upgrade is the first time we’ve ever had an issue, and it’s a big issue, and it points to why we generally prefer paid plugins supported by larger teams and considerations.

    – reCAPTChA v3 is unacceptable at its ability to stop spam. The numbers our clients are seeing after a mandatory switch to v3 are off the charts.

    – When looking at our reCAPTCHA v3 analytics, the quantity of .9 scores is extremely off based on ‘real’ vs ‘spam’ submissions we actually see come in for a given website/key.

    – Based on you using the language “great masterpiece”, I am concerned that your perception is limited to the user experience improvement and the blind trust (that frankly we all have at times) in the Google Gods. I’m concerned that you do not have actual spam detection data in the thousands/tends of thousands to back up that perspective.

I do not fault anyone for having blind trust in Google. We’ve all been there many times. But this is a moment where v3 is clearly not working. As others have stated, it could be due to mandatory .5 threshold setting. However, as seen in my analytics, endless spam is scoring a .9… so I have concerns that v3 is just not ready or practical.

Please revert back to v2 or give the user the option between v2 and v3.
