  • Had the same problem, now found the solution to this:

You have to rename the folder all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall via ftp. Go to wp-content/plugins/ and rename the folder to e.g. _all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall – the plugin is deactivated.

Now you can log-in to your wp-website again. Check remember me! Once logged-in you can rename the plugin folder back to the original: all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall
Then you have to go to wp security settings. Got to Brute Force and update your google recaptcha V2 keys.

After updating the keys you can login again as before.

As soon as I reactivate the AIOWPS plugin it throws me out. Is there another way to edit the brute force settings? Say from phpmyadmin?

    Hello,
    Sorry for the delayed response…

I checked the TroubleShooting but i did not use it, because reCaptcha has been working properly for the past 3 days. I’m thinking i shouldn’t touch it as long as it works? Should i proceed with the steps anyway?

I will set this topic as resolved and get back to you if problems return again.
    thank you for your help!
