reCaptcha v2 is giving problems on my Contact Form. Despite the fact that I have No Conflict Mode enabled, it leaves this error in console: “Uncaught (in promise) Error: reCAPTCHA has already been rendered in this element”.

After clicking on the reCaptcha field and validating the form, it still leaves the error “This field is required” and doesn’t submit the form.

I have disabled it on my live site and the form submits.

The attached link takes you to a replication of the same error on my staging site.

    (Both URLS have been whitelisted).

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @bashyio,

Thanks for contacting us and sharing the website URL!

I’ve gone to the website and in the browser console I can see this error, there could be that reCAPTCHA is getting loaded twice on the page — once by WPForms, and once by either your theme or another plugin, and this causes the error in the form.

When you have a moment, you can try to track down what’s generating the other reCAPTCHA code and, if possible, turn it off. Further, can you please double-check the reCAPTCHA API key and that it’s set to match the current domain?

    Thanks!

same with me, it always says required filled, when enabling the Recaptcha.
I have solvemedia installed. but used from other purpose.

    Thanks!

    Hello @bashyio,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks! ??
